Looking forward to hearing more about the clinic and what they're doing there. How does the work of the Red Cross in Mexico differ from the US? Love the tacos but I think the driving would suck!!

I believe the American Red Cross provides more relief work, such as their volunteering to help families affected by the Washington mudslide, while the Cruz Roja Mexicana provides more day to day aid to their city. Like the US Red Cross, the Cruz Roja also allocates resources to victims of natural disasters, etc. but today I learned that 90% of their costs come from transporting patients to hospitals in ambulances, something they get no money from.
